25 Years Teaching and Lecturing
at the Art Students League

ne of my goals for moving to New York was to study at the famous art Students League - then as now the most important art school in the country. Imagine my surprise, when, after a few months of study there, I was invited to teach a class in portrait painting! I continued the studio class for eleven years, and my lecture class for twenty-five. The League is a magic place, and miracles happen there on a regular basis. J.H.S.
